Accounting, control and audit 2017

The main goal of the ACCOUNTING, CONTROL AND AUDIT study programme is to develop modernly educated professionals in the field of accounting, control and audit and train them to perform complex analytical work and solve specific economic and financial problems and challenges in the economy, banking, insurance and other financial institutions as well as the private sector domain, using quantitative methods, business strategies, contemporary models, techniques and procedures.

The main objective the study programme is to acquaint students with modern theoretical and methodological as well as the best practices in these domains and enable them to successfully apply the knowledge and skills acquired in these areas in domestic and foreign companies through the creation and implementation of accounting policies, the design and calculation of cash flows, financial and accounting reporting, management and measurement of company performance, managerial accounting, monitoring business strategy choosing the optimal accounting policy, auditing of financial statements in various economic and non-economic activities, as well as working in positions of an accounting manager, auditor, chief accountant, chief controller, analyst or/and planner.

1st semester: 3 compulsory courses (28 credits)

2nd semester: 1 compulsory course, 2 elective courses, internship and project work, thesis (32 credits)

Upon completion of the study program Accounting, Control and Audit at Specialist Applied  Studies, the candidate acquires a title of Specialist of Applied Studies in Economics and a total of 240 ECTS credits.
